The backflow preventer is composed of two check valves separated from each other and a self operated drainer (drain valve). It is mainly used for effective separation between municipal water supply network and user pipe network, or between domestic water and fire water, air conditioning water, green water and other water quality systems. Backflow preventer is also often called antifouling block valve.
